I​f this isn't enough to whet your appetite for travel, our twenty somethings daughter and her husband also recently visited Dubai and they loved it and said they would like to go back. ​Southern Bali
The southern coast of Bali is the tourist mecca of the island. This area of the island is where you will find tourist hotels, lively night-life, and the best of the local bars. There are various cities in southern Bali that will lend themselves to having great offerings for you if you are looking to have a tourist experience.

• ​Uluwatu/Padang Padang- A surfer's paradise, in the center of Southern Bali. These great beaches are situated on the Bukit Peninsula, and wisdom would note,  experienced surfers only should ride the waves that are found here.

 

• Nusa Dua- This area of Bali is located on the southern-most tip of the island. The beaches here are considered to be the best in Bali. You will discover that there are two distinct areas in this part of Bali; the resort area and the town of Tanjung Benoa with its’ local shops and restaurants.

Central Bali
The central region of Bali is far more than just the "geographical center" of the island. The central region is also the cultural, historical, and spiritual center of Bali. It is visible in the natural beauty of this region and in the ancient traditions that are still carried out to this day.

• Ubud- For decades, Ubud was a sleepy artists village, that was then transformed into its’ own little metropolis. The rice terraces and mountains of this town form the backdrop and base in which you can explore the temples, museums, and heart of Bali.

Western Bali
Western Bali is considered to be most representative of what “real Bali" is. Most of it is mountains, volcanoes, rice paddies, and tourist-free.

Balian Beach-  Balian Beach is considered to be more of a "secret spot" in Eastern Bali because there are not many tourists who venture here. The black sand beach offers great surfing and beautiful coves to explore with your kids.  

​Clearly, Bali has something to offer for everyone. No matter what type of trip YOU are looking to take--and who is going on the trip with you--Bali will likely have what you want. • Authentic Aruban Desserts--Pudding is a big deal in Aruba. You must order a helping of Pan Bollo (bread pudding with Ponche cream or rum, and ice cream) or Bolo di Banana (plantain pudding).

1. Hot Papaya Sauce--Often served on the side of meals, hot papaya sauce is the perfect addition to a meal if you can stand the sweet heat of papaya fruit mashed with hot peppers.
2. Aruba Ariba and a Local Beer--Although it isn't food, the local beer is worth a shot. Balashi is the most popular beer on the island, but there are a ton of delicious choices.
3. Pastechi--Pastechi is a portion of famous Aruban street food. You can find it offered by most street food vendors, and all of them claim to make it best. No matter where you get it, you don't want to miss out on this gouda filled pastry. 

​It doesn't matter what restaurants or cafes you choose to visit while in Aruba, but make sure you don't leave without indulging in some of the foods mentioned on this list! They are by far some of the greatest, tastiest options on the island. Many people have Aruba on their vacation bucket list. In addition to the luxurious tropical blue waters and warm weather, it is well known for its friendly atmosphere and diversity. Depending on when you visit the island, various festivals are held each year. These festivals are often held in honor of Aruban history and mixed with modern influences. Music, dancing, traditional foods, and plenty of entertainment exist all over the island.
